Each property has air filtration systems with real-time monitoring that maintain optimal air quality, temperature and humidity – critical factors for improved sleep and mental clarity. Lab rooms in each hotel location collect advanced data to identify improvements.
Biophilic Spaces
Biophilic design nurtures our innate connection to nature. Research has linked natural elements in the built environment to reduced stress, enhanced creativity and boosted mood. Our properties incorporate abundant greenery, exposed wood and natural materials throughout interior spaces.
Purposeful Partnerships
Working with carefully selected suppliers, we are eliminating non-toxic cleaning products and low-VOC paints, ensuring our properties provide a low-chemical atmosphere. We also provide premium guest toiletry products that are 100% plastic and palm oil free.
For The Health of our Biosphere
Bees are crucial to biodiversity and global food production, pollinating the majority of flowering plants and nearly a third of the crops we eat.
room2 Chiswick is home to around 75,000 bees and in 2023, our roof-top hives produced 360 jars of honey for the London Bee Company – benefiting both the environment and our local economy.

Our approach prioritises local businesses and celebrates the diverse voices of our cities. room2 Southampton engages with the community through youth development workshops and classes, and fundraising efforts for charities. room2 Chiswick serves as a hub for connection, hosting knitting workshops, network lunches, and creative sessions like mindful calligraphy. We also provide a platform for local entrepreneurs through our Small Business Hive.
