Launched in 2023 following 18 months of development, Second Nature Belfast is located in the heart of the city and comprises 175 studios across nine floors. The hometel includes Winnie’s Café and Bar, a tea room, a publicly accessible art gallery, meeting and event spaces, a gym and guest laundry facilities.
Second Nature Belfast is a fully electric building, powered by 100% renewable electricity backed by REGO certificates. In 2025, it emitted 96% less carbon per night than the average UK hotel.* The building also holds WELL Platinum certification - the highest level awarded under the WELL Building Standard, the international benchmark for health and wellbeing in buildings.*0.44 kg CO₂e per night, calculated using the CHSB methodology with UK Government conversion factors.
