Hammersmith Apartments operates as Lamington Group’s research and development lab. A scaled-back version of the full hometel model, it retains the flexibility and personality that define the brand. Formerly a dilapidated 15-bedroom B&B, the building was acquired and transformed through a series of extensions and a full conversion into its current form, followed by a comprehensive energy retrofit completed in 2024.
The fully electric hometel is heated by an air source heat pump and powered by 100% renewable electricity - from on-site solar panels, with the rest backed by REGO certificates.
