The world’s first hometel
Originally a 1980s office building, the site was acquired with existing planning consent for a 54-room hotel. Lamington Developments reconfigured and expanded the design, obtaining consent for a new 71-studio-room hometel with ground-floor food and beverage and four floors of accommodation, marking the point at which the hometel concept was first brought to life.
