Northern Ireland's first hometel.
Launched in 2023 following 18 months of development, room2 Belfast is located in the heart of the city and comprises 175 studios across nine floors. The hometel includes Winnie’s Café and Bar, a tea room, a publicly accessible art gallery, meeting and event spaces, a gym and guest laundry facilities.
In 2025, the building became the first hotel in the UK to achieve WELL Platinum certification, recognising its high standards for health, comfort and the wellbeing of both guests and colleagues. The fully electric hometel is powered by low-carbon renewable energy and offers guests a carbon neutral stay. Designed with circularity in mind, the space champions local suppliers, makers and artists, reflecting Belfast’s distinctive local culture, and has been recognised with ECOSmart Platinum and Green Tourism Gold certifications.
