Set within the historic Victoria Road Conservation Area, just steps from Castle Mound, this project will transform a former police station and registry office into a room2 hometel in the heart of Cambridge.
The development will comprise approximately 111 keys across five floors and will feature Winnie’s Café and Bar, meeting and event spaces, a studio gym and guest laundry facilities. Fully electric and powered by low-carbon renewable energy, the hometel will offer guests a carbon-neutral stay. Designed with circularity at its core, the space will champion local suppliers, makers and artists, reflecting the character of its location. The hometel is set to open in 2028.
